Ackerman Antiques provide different services including estate tag sales and appraisals. The products presented in this section is a result of a lifetime of collecting. The items found here are in-expensive and not miss represented in any way. This is maintained by the same person that does the refinishing as J. G. Refinishing. You are apt to find most anything in this section, its diversity represents the changes in his collecting interests over the past 50 years. Come take a look, you might find something you just cannot resist or at least see something you have not seen before.

I have been in business since 1978, and am like my merchandise--a true antique. I love glass and china but also the artifacts of olden everyday life. J. G. Refinishing
This is a refinishing and not a restoring business. The man who runs it has dabbles with antique furniture and woodworking for the last 50 years. He does not want anyone to think he is a restorer. He simply removes the old finish and stains or oils the surface before applying the finish. Then the surface is waxed. He is not a cabinet maker, but will on occasion do simple repairs. This is done without the customer having to pay a large amount for having the work done. It is completed on a timely basis. Free estimates and completion times can be given. It is best to bring the piece to be refinished in, if it is very large, detailed pictures must be taken, showing the condition of the piece and any repair work that may need to be done.
Jensen Stoneware
Jensen Stoneware's main focus is on functional ware which can be used and enjoyed every day. All of his work is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. His glazes are Lead and Cadmium free. Jensen Stoneware does dinnerware sets, special orders and commissions on request.
